Ruby's Story...
S/F, 4-5 Years, German Shepherd/Husky Mix, Approx. 70 lbs.

Hi there! I'm a big, happy, friendly gal who was found as a stray! (Well, actually, I MADE someone find me!) I'd heard that MaxFund was a really great place to find a good home, and since I was on my own, I decided to hitch a ride to the shelter! I recognized a nice lady who volunteers her time at MaxFund. Before she realized what was happening, I joyfully leapt into her car and planted myself on her backseat! Nothing better than a car ride to a warm and happy destination! Well... Here I am!! Just ready and waiting to be adopted. I haven't told the shelter too much about my history, but I seem to have all the traits of a great, well-balanced doggie. Care to meet me? I can't wait!
PS And what about my wonderful blue eye?? Don't you find it very "fetching"? Heh, heh!! I just crack myself up.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Denver German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky for sale in Denver, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
