Information:
3/13/14: Absolutely A DOR ABLE!! This little girl is absolutely Precious! If you are looking for a cuddly, sturdy little friend....Dani is for you!
Dani does love women. Her human foster brother is a 6 foot 2 inch guy, and she has no issues with him...but is very happy and excited around women. So we will be looking for a home where a woman is the primary caregiver.
She is very cuddly! Loves petting! She wants to sit right with her person on the couch. She loves rubbing her belly or face. She will follow you about the house, but flops right down to calmly rest at your feet while you are busy. When you come in from having been out, she does this adorable little spinning dance of happiness...so cute!
Dani is housebroken, but sometimes needs to be walked away from the door to potty, or she can just wait at the door to come back inside. Newly in her foster home, she has made it through the night without accidents. She can make it through a work day if you are not working late. She would do great with being let out at lunchtime.
Dani is completely blind and will bump into walls, but gets around exceptionally well. She goes up and down steps readily, jumps up onto the couch without help, and will go for short walks. She follows you about the house easily. She may do best in an adult household, or with older children.
She has been completely indifferent to other dogs. Each dog that she has met so far, she simply sniffs and then walks away. She is not food, toy or bed aggressive.
She is not fond of the crate in the home, but will respect a tall baby gate. She is crated when traveling in the car, and does well with that. She is generally a quiet girl. Her foster home is an adult quiet house, but it is very busy in the neighborhood and she rarely barks.
If you are looking for a calm, sweet dog for your house...of a great size, and pretty markings...consider Dani!! She is ready to be adopted!!
