Spot's Story...
Hello! My name is Spot and I\'m a 3 yr old boxer/lab/pitbull mix. I weigh 52 pounds and love wrestling with my foster brother, but tug-o-war is my favorite. I am also a big snuggle-bug and will curl up next to you for a nap. I am neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines. I am working on my training and I sit very well. If we complete a training class together within 4 months of my adoption, H.E.L.P. will reimburse you $50 of my adoption fee! I don\'t like being in my crate very much, so please don\'t leave me alone too long. I\'d prefer a family who has someone home most of the time. I love to go on walks and would like an active family. I can\'t wait to find my forever family and feel safe and loved! If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application! THANK YOU!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spot, a St. Charles Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in St. Charles, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in St. Charles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Charles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Charles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Charles paves the way for another one to be saved.
