Parafina's Story...
Please help me introduce Parafina. She is approximately one year old is an outgoing little girl. She is learning how to walk well on a leash and she does good with other dogs. Parafina loves to rest her head in your lap and loves to have her ears rubbed. Parafina is a relaxed lower energy dog but does enjoy getting out with her care takers and learning about all the new things in this world. She has been spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped, now all she is missing is her forever home. Parafina is looking for a forever loving home that will be willing to let her give them the word and prove to them how good of a dog she can be! If you are interested in giving Parafina this chance please call Town Of Estancia Animal Care and Control at 505-705-0041

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Parafina, a Estancia Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Estancia, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Estancia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Estancia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Estancia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Estancia paves the way for another one to be saved.
