Stacie's Story...
Hello! My name is Stacie! I am a vibrant 1 year old Manx Mix. I was found as a stray and taken to the local shelter where The PRC couldn’t resist my adorable face and cute little butt. I’m unique in that I have no tail! I love to play with toys and have tons of personality and don't seem to mind other cats or dogs. I am a special needs kitty and will need to be managed with medication for the remainder of my life. Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to get more information on me!

The Pet Rescue Center is now a Best Friends “No More Home Pets Network Partners” and is participating in a special holiday promotion through the month of December making Stacie’s adoption free!

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stacie, a Mission Viejo Manx cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manx for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Manx cat from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manx breeders who help with Manx rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
