I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.
Cleo is a classic story of a cat once had an owner and then she didn't. She was turned out on to the hard streets to fend for herself. She didn't fare very well to say the least. She was skin and bones and her long fur was severely matted. She was taken to the vets for a head to toe checkup; CBC, tested for feline aids/luke/distemper, was shaved, had her rabies and distemper shots, and
had 3 teeth pulled too. Poor Darling!! when I brought her home that afternoon she ate 6 cans of Fancy Feast! She's still doing 6-8 cans a day too. Poor darling she was so starved. The Good News is that she got a clean bill of health!!
So, this sweet, skinny girl is ready to start to look for her good forever home now. She is getting along well with the other cats and her growling while she is eating has stopped. So, things are working out well. She's adjusted very quickly and very well. I think she's so happy that she's not starving any more, not freezing, and fighting to stay alive, that she must feel like she has gone to heaven!!
If you think you might be interested in making Cleo your very own, come to the Providence Petco and come and see her. Also, you can email us for an application and get pre=approved.
You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing email@example.com. All of the cats and kittens are placed with the Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to any placement. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours. We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only a high end cat food. We are at the Providence Petco, located at 585 No. Main Street, Providence, RI every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm and you are welcome to come by and see all the cats and kittens that are looking for new 'Forever Homes'. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption day as each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their placed. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be placed spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any placement of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO which is so important to help combat the pet over population crisis.
