GRADY's Story...
GRADY, approximately 1 year old, 71 lbs, heart worm negative, very handsome, happy and friendly, sweet, LOVES attention, people oriented, outgoing, responsive, affectionate, loves hugs, scared of toys, needs a reminder of manner but this super smart boy won't take long to remember what is proper behavior, intelligent, knows the commands sit, shake and down, so he obviously had a family that cared but alas they did not come to find him, he is sensitive to sharp commands so a gentle but firm voice is all you need, okay being handled as we pulled on his toes, tail and ears, will be an excellent addition to a loving family where he is an important member of your family. GRADY is up to date on all shots as are all of the animals at Tehama County Animal Care Center. As we get more information on GRADY’s personality and likes we will be happy to share.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GRADY, a Red Bluff Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Red Bluff, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Red Bluff.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Red Bluff already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Red Bluff breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Red Bluff paves the way for another one to be saved.
