My name is Louie!

American Bulldog Mix Dog for adoption in Gainesville, Georgia - Louie

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Louie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Louie's Story...
Louie is around 2 years of age and weighs in at around 54 pounds. He was rescued on January the 4th and was in a horrendous state of neglect and malnourishment. He is a American bulldog mix and is such a bundle of love, he actually SMILES! and is so grateful for his new start in life.
All who meet Louie just fall in love with him. He wiggles with excitement over just about anything and bounds with excitement and joy to all those he meets.
He is very good on the leash and loves to ride in the car. He would make a wonderful addition to any family. No dogs or cats.
He is very partial to cheeseburgers "hold the onions" and takes them very graciously from the lady at the drive through who have come to love and know him! chicken nuggets are also a big hit. He must also be an inside only dog with a fenced yard.
He has been neutered, and vetted so adoption fee applies!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Gainesville American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Gainesville, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Gainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
