My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tasha is about 1 year old and ready for a home of her very own! She's super sweet and will be a snuggly addition to any loving family. She's a little on the shy side but once she knows that she is safe, she warms up quickly. We rescued her from a high kill shelter and sadly, there was no history left with her. We think she wasn't abused but most likely just didn't receive a lot of positive human interaction before she was surrendered. We hope to see this little girl settled in her home and receiving all of the love she deserves!

This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for our Quadruple Header event weekend! CPR will be with North Shore Animal League on Friday, October 17th at Petland in Southbury, CT from 2pm-6pm. CPR will be at Petsmart in Meridan, CT this Saturday, October 18th from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be at TWO adoption events this Sunday, October 19th with lots of great pups! The first event will be at Bone Appetit in Watertown, CT from 10am-2pm. The second adoption event will take place at the Lumberyard Pub in Redding, CT from 12pm-4pm. If there is a specific pup you would like to meet, please email kristing10@gmail.com Saturday evening to find out which event that pup will be attending. Pre-approval is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from Sunday's events. If you are not pre-approved then you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the events. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed same day. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!

This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $75 fee will be added for puppies picked up from our Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. MA residents are no longer allowed to adopt from our adoption center or our adoption events due to MA regs. All MA adoptions must be finalized prior to the puppy leaving our care in TN.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
