My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet BEANS!! This sweet 10 year old boy is ready to start his new life with a new family that will love him just as much (and probably even more) than he loves them! He has so much love to share and it's a shame that his former owner didn't appreciate him for the loving loyal companion that he is.
After spending 10 years of his 10.25 years on this earth with her, she dumped him at a very rural shelter where his chance of adoption was almost zero. She point blank said that she didn't care if he was euthanized or not. We aren't sure what sort of heartless woman she is, but we are sure that this boy deserved better than what she gave him.
He has tested positive for heartworms but we'll have him fully treated before he leaves our care.
We are very hopeful that the loving family Beans is searching for finds his post and it will be a match made in heaven!
His former owner will likely never see his post but if she does, I would like to share this with her:
He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $75 fee will be added for puppies picked up from our Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. MA residents are no longer allowed to adopt from our adoption center or our adoption events due to MA regs. All MA adoptions must be finalized prior to the puppy leaving our care in TN.
