"Hi there, thank you for taking the time to read about us. I hope you liked our pics. We are Willie and Johnny. We our brothers and we are really bonded. We would love to be adopted together. We are both 5 years old.
We came to our foster mom's house after a long drive from New Jersey . See our previous owner past away and we ended up in a cold and lonely shelter. All we had was each other to keep us warm and cozy. Untill my foster mom saw our pics on Facebook and she made a phone call and the next thing we knew this nice lady from IMPS rescued us from our cold cage and took us to our foster mommy's house.
We love it her at our foster moms house. She has a lot of other dogs which we get along with just find. Some are really big dogs too but that's ok were not afraid of them. We are very mellow and don't bark very much at all. Our foster mom keeps saying we our so sweet.
We love just hanging out together on the soft and cozy chair. We like lying on mommy's lap too but like I said there are lots of dogs here so we don't get a lot of time alone with mom. That's why we would love a place of our own and a lap of our own.
We promise we won't be bad boys. We use our manners at the dinner table and don't let out a peep unless we get startled.
When mommy brings us outside we do our "business' out there. She has a big fenced in yard and we are not use to that so we are still learning about doing our "business" out there but we are catching on fast. We are used to walking on a leash so if you don't have a big yard that's ok too.
We may take a little time to get used to someone or a new environment but that's just because we don't want our heart to be broken again. What do you think? Could we be part of your family?"

About IMPS - Internet Miniature Pinscher Service, Inc. - NY Region

About Our Rescue Group...

The Internet Miniature Pinscher Service, Inc. (IMPS) was formed in July of 1998 with the adoption of Lister ( ) through the Miniature Pinscher e-mail group at For information on the Miniature Pinscher e-mail list, please visit the "Minpin List" at

The IMPS mission is to improve the lives of homeless and abandoned Miniature Pinschers through rescue and the love and respect that comes with humane care, compassion and kindness.

IMPS attempts to assist Miniature Pinschers in need by providing foster care, transport, adoptive homes, veterinary care, and other services and information for the well-being of Miniature Pinschers. All Miniature Pinschers placed through IMPS will be spayed or neutered prior to placement, and have been thoroughly evaluated by a breed representative for temperament and training needs.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our rescued min pins are now living in loving foster homes throughout the country and Canada. To start the process please fill out an adoption application at

The success of IMPS is only possible with the volunteers who have agreed to help with the rescue and placement of miniature pinschers. Assistance from our team of volunteers includes fostering, assistance with owner give-ups & home checks, local shelter checks, and transport & placement of min pins to approved homes.

IMPS is in need of volunteers in all of the above described areas. To volunteer, please fill out the On-Line Volunteer Application Form at Or, call our hotline at 1-877-Minpin1 and leave a message.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters must pass a veterinary reference check and home visit. IMPS requires reimbursement of all necessary veterinary costs (eg. the cost of the spay/neuter, microchipping, and any veterinary care required prior to placement), and in some instances, travel costs. A donation to the organization is requested with each adoption so that we may continue to care for chronically ill and/or severely injured foster dogs. In all cases, any expenses related to the adoption will be agreed upon prior to placement. While the Adoption expenses may be negotiable for some dogs, please remember that the care and upkeep of a dog, even the "King of Toys", requires some financial outlay, and if a small placement expense is beyond your means, you may wish to consider a pet which does not require as much care as the Miniature Pinscher.
