Cody's Story...
Hi there. My name is Cody, and I am a 1 and a half year old neutered male Redbone Coonhound mix. I am a gorgeous boy with pretty copper eyes and big hound ears! I came to the shelter as an owner surrender because I kept jumping my previous owners fences. I am a very sweet boy who is a little timid when I first meet a new person. I get along with other dogs well, I am good with kids but I do like to chase cats! I am a little thin, so the shelter staff is feeding me well to get me up to my ideal weight. I need a home with a very secure fence- probably block, wood or wrought iron- so that I can't jump over it. If you have that and are looking for a sweet boy to love and care foor, I'm the one for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Chino Valley Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in Chino Valley, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in Chino Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chino Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chino Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chino Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
