Toby's Story...
Toby is an adorable hound mix pup.! Toby, his mom, and sister were found in freezing weather by a good Samaritan. The puppies' eyes weren't even open and they were most likely going to die if the person didn't pick them up and bring them home. He is a very healthy puppy that loves to play; he gets along with cats and older children; loves the outdoors; and is eight weeks old this week (March 20th). He has been showered with love and never been yelled at but he knows the word "no." Toby is up to date on vaccines but will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract.

If you are interested in adopting this puppy, please submit an online adoption application at www.pacconline.org. This does NOT obligate you to adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Franklin Plott Hound/Bloodhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Bloodhound for sale in Franklin, or seeking a Plott Hound/Bloodhound puppy from a breeder in Franklin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Franklin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Franklin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Bloodhound breeders who help with Plott Hound/Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Franklin paves the way for another one to be saved.
