My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Booker, named because he had been wandering around the parking lot of an elementary school, couldn’t have been any luckier when he was rescued on St. Patrick’s Day in 2014. Around 2.5 years old, this handsome Maltipoo is a true companion and ran right up to his rescuers for some much-desired affection. Clearly neglected, he was heavily matted and weighed less than five pounds, half of what his weight should be. His clean-shaven look reveals the dapper dog that he is, but he can’t wait to show you his fun, curly locks, too!

As expected, he’s a smart A+ student who would probably be voted “Most Likely to Have the Most Facebook Friends” since he gets along with everyone and every dog he meets (hasn’t met a cat just yet). He loves to spend a quiet evening snuggling on the couch but will get excited for a walk or shopping trip! He’s a true "purse dog" whom you can take everywhere as he is great in the car and in a pet travel bag. Pee-pad trained, he may need some fine-tuning in a new home and will likely pick up house-training easily.
