for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Daisey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.

Daisey's Story...
Daisey came to us as a tiny pittie pup, being sold by someone at a pizza place who no longer wanted her! We named her Squirrel as she was a squirrely little thing, but she has blossomed into a sweet pup and needed a new name to fit...Daisey!

Daisey is in a foster home with another large, submissive dog who she gets along with great. She's not a fan of the kitties in the home, so no cats for her please! She has a human foster brother who she loves to play with.

Daisey has mastered her basic commands and is housetrained. She is fine being crated while her foster mom is at work during the day. She is a bit on the shy side but warms up quickly and will make a great addition to the right family.

Your first step for adoption is to complete our adoption application at We will then screen your application through a vet reference check, phone interview (this is when you can ask all of your questions over the phone), reference checks (2) and a home visit. Our adoption donation is $300 and includes spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccines and preventatives up to date per the dog's age, health check, fecal / deworming as needed and heartworm testing and treatment as needed. More details will be provided if you are being considered for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisey, a North Haledon Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in North Haledon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in North Haledon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Haledon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Haledon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Haledon paves the way for another one to be saved.
