Popeye's Story...
Hi I'm Popeye! I'm a super smart athletic gorgeous guy looking for a strong partner to take me on lots of hikes, runs, and walks around the block. I love to meet new people and I am very outgoing, I would love to meet someone as active as I am. I do great with other dogs and wouldn't mind hitting up the dog park every now and then, or having a canine sibling to play with. I'm definitely a handsome dog, every where I go people want to pet me and learn all about me, if you are looking for a dog that will attract some attention then I'm your boy! Although I am very smart I haven't been taught very much in my life so far, I would love it if someone would take the time to teach me all sorts of new tricks. I hope to find a home where I can be treated as a loved member of the family, all I want is a home where I can go for a run in the morning, and then curl up on a dog bed next to you during the evening. Or the other way around, I'm not too picky.

My adoption fee is 150 and includes my neuter, vaccinations, rabies vaccine, deworming, microchip, and a take home leash!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Popeye, a Roosevelt Collie/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Husky for sale in Roosevelt, or seeking a Collie/Husky dog from a breeder in Roosevelt.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roosevelt already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roosevelt breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Husky breeders who help with Collie/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roosevelt paves the way for another one to be saved.
