Asher's Story...
Well it’s about that special time of year, kitten season but I decided to beat the rush and make my début early. I am a super sweet 10 week old little boy kitty. I was rescued from a home where my caretaker was clueless when it came to the care of a baby kitten. I am a loveable little fellow and my purr motor is constantly running. I am very affectionate and love to cuddle. I love to play with my toys, my very favorite toy is the laser. Oh how I love to chase that elusive beam. I so want a home of my own with my special people. Brighten your spring season with this wonderful little guy.

Please call CARE @ (804) 288-9797 and ask Connie all about adorable Asher.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Asher, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
