Maggie Mae's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Maggie Mae's Story...
Hi! My name is Maggie Mae. I am a very petite, flashy, reverse brindle girl who is almost three years old. I came from a home where I was an only dog. I was loved very much, but because of circumstances that had nothing to do with me, my family has to give me up. I like it here in my foster home. I was afraid when I met my foster brother Mobie and foster sister Polly, but they were so nice to me, I warmed up to them right away. I love to play chase in the yard with them and cuddle with Mobie on his bed.

I am spayed and UTD on all my shots, so am looking for my forever home now. There is not much more to write about me because my mo is will getting to know me. But she does know that I am already crate trained and housetrained. Maybe I'll update a little more soon.

For my forever home, I think I would like a big fenced-in yard,a four-legged brother or sister to run and play with, and lots of toys! If you are interested in making me part of your forever family go right over to www.goboxerrescue.com and fill out an app. There may be somebody who already applied and has been waiting for someone like me, but GOBR always has wonderful dogs waiting for forever homes, so just in case I'm already spoken for by the time you apply, please consider my brothers or sisters who are waiting for their forever homes, too. And remember, if you have your app already in and approved, then you'll be all set when the right boxer comes your way. And who knows? It might be me!

Oh - I forgot to mention: Did you notice the heart on my chest. Isn't it beautiful?

Boxer Kisses,
Maggie Mae

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie Mae, a Dayton Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Dayton, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Dayton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dayton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dayton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dayton paves the way for another one to be saved.
