Gunther's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Gunther's Story...
2-4 year old neutered male, heartworm negative, vaccinated. gunther is an awesome dog ! He is friendly, well behaved and incredibly handsome. Gunther is a big guy at 90 pounds. He definitely needs a yard and someone to exercise him, but he does not want to be a "yard dog". He wants to be inside, with his family. He is good with kids and other dogs. We have not had him around cats so can't really say how he feels about them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunther, a Smithfield Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever for sale in Smithfield, or seeking a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Smithfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
