Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I think the person who named me was blond. Sorry, that wasn't nice. It's just that I'm proud of my pretty chocolate brindle fur. Maybe they named me Blondie because they were hoping I would have more fun. That would be okay.
FOSTER UPDATE:
Blondie is a very sweet and gentle dog. She is quiet in the house and is housetrained without a doggie door. She doesn’t have any separation anxiety. She’s very shy around people, especially men, but I think with time and living in a forever home with patient people, she will blossom. She bonded with us (foster parents) right away. She’s also fearful of sudden movements and loud noises. She loves to go for walks and does happy jumping and dancing when we make preparations. She seems to lose her fears when on a leash, and doesn’t react to noisy trucks and equipment or golf carts. While on a walk, she enjoys meeting friendly dogs of all sizes, but I think she likes the small ones the best. She’s still keen on the rabbits, but she is learning that she can’t catch them while on a leash. Blondie is worth the little extra effort at first.
