Halo's Story...
I met little Halo today and talk about complete doll baby. He is 5 to 6 months old and the perfect sized little man, His disposition is – CUTE !!!! DARLING!! And ADORABLE !!!

He is GOOD WITH KIDS, CATS AND DOGS. He was being treated for a virus and his owner never returned for him - their loss completely as he is amazing!
He weighs maybe 30 to 35 pounds and has short legs; these pictures show his calm demeanor. Anyone would be lucky to be blessed with this youngster.

If you are interested in meeting him please call Jodi Lepera our shelter manager at 201-925-9514 or email startkayne@gmail.com to make an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Halo, a Elmwood Park Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
