My story

I am a happy fit female pug. I am about 9 years young and a have a sweet face and a loving personality. I came to my foster parents back in April along with my mate, Muenster. We have spent most of our lives together, but are very independent. When we came to CPR I was a chunky girl, having some heart problems caused by years of poor diet and little exercise, but now I am fit and trim. I love healthy treats and snacks. I am good about taking meds, getting my eye drops, and being groomed. I am good at walking on my leash, love to go on rides and will jump into the car as soon as the door is open.

My big habit is giving kisses. I will love to stand on your chest and look into your eyes. I will use my whiskers to tickle your face until you rub me and tell me you love me. I am an excellent wake-up service! I understand english and spanish, and know sit, stay, come, up and down commands and I learn quickly. I love to lay at your side on the couch or at your feet, hanging half out of my dog bed! I get along great with everyone, am mellow around other dogs, good with cats, and love kids. I would do best in a home with another dog, especially my mate, Muenster. I can go to a home with another pug without Muenster but of course I prefer him!
