Stunning Dakota is a pure bred black lab who is almost six years old, an absolute love and an amazing companion. She has been a beloved member of her family and is shows; sadly her family was no longer able to keep her and heartbroken they asked Fuzzy Pawz to help them find her a home.
Dakota looks forward to long hikes and days at the water; living in Meridian, Idaho gives her plenty of access to both. This girl is smart as a whip and other than Sit/stay/shake/speak/roll over/"slow down"/"go easy"/"get down"/heal/potty/"drop" and come she recognizes names of friends/family and words like eat/play/work/water/hike/car/ and "office (crate). Can you say WOW!
Dakota is kennel trained. Her family called her kennel her "office". She does not typically cause any trouble when home alone but she likes having it as an option. Keep her bed and some toys in it and she goes in and out of it as she pleases.
This amazing girl is also great with other dogs and loves to play with them; she does however prefer to eat alone with no other dogs present. Dakota is also really good with cats and just ignores them. Dakota is a long-time day camper at Camp Bow Wow in Meridian and does great; she is a favorite there.
Dakota is over all very well mannered. But none of us is perfect; she will eat mail if you give her the opportunity and occasionally she will jump up when she is excited. But, she corrects her behaviors quickly when she’s given a command to do so.
She is a really great listener and gets along with everyone (adults/children)! Dakota does well with routines and she’s real easy going. She would really thrive with someone looking for a best friend! She loves company, car rides, and even just lounging around.
She is up to date on all her vaccinations, she has been spayed, is potty trained, and has a clean bill of health!
