Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Myra is an 11-year-old, well-trained shepherd-mix waiting for the perfect home at the Save-A-Pet adoption center in Grayslake, Illinois. Before she was given up for adoption, she lived with a family with three children and a cat; and often had other dog visitors to the home. She is beautifully-trained. She knows sit, speak, paw, fetch, down and would even be more than happy to expand her repertoire. Her prior family reported that she was afraid of the newspaper and didn’t always like her neck touched – maybe something happened in her life prior to that family. She is a strong sweetheart, always well-behaved on leash, and eager for long walks. Myra is healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on preventative. To meet and possibly adopt her, please visit the Save-A-Pet adoption center in Grayslake, Illinois at 31664 North Fairfield Road. They're open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-5:00 pm; Thursdays from 1-8:00 pm; and Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 6:00. To expedite the adoption, you can fill out an adoption application on-line at http://www.save-a-pet-il.org. Her adoption fee of $125 benefits the many rescued dogs and cats of Save-A-Pet. If you have more questions about Myra, please contact volunteer Dominique at 847-726-1257 or e-mail myra@save-a-pet-il.org.
