Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Fergi. We think that she is a young Yorkshire Terrier / Chihuahua mixed female. Little Fergi pants is 1 yr old and currently weighs about 7 lbs. Teeny girl. Despite her small size, Miss Fergison would prefer to be treated like one of the big dogs and NOT like a baby! She walks well on a leash (and is up in front leading the group when we walk dogs in a small group!) and she rides well in the car too (we currently crate her when we travel). She has a silly personality and she does make us laugh.
Obviously, due to her small size, Fergi can be intimidated by large breed dogs. We have only introduced her to small breed dogs and she seems to do well with them in that she tries to get them involved in a race me-chase me game. We are not sure how she would do with a cat. A meet and greet might tell us a little better how she might do with your current family pets. Fergi is also crate trained and keeps her crate clean and dry. She is spayed, is microchipped, and is also current on vaccinations. This precious little cutie is looking for a loving home.
If you are interested in adopting Fergi, please visit our website, www.friendsofcanines.org and check out our Adoption Process and fill out an adoption application.
(If you would like to make a donation to help pay for food or medical expenses for Fergi, you can make a donation on our website as well at www.friendsofcanines.org. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization and your donation is tax deductible.)
If you have any further questions, feel free to e-mail us at rescue@friendsofcanines.org.
