This tiny fellow is Pablo, a charming 4-year-old Chihuahua who thinks he is much bigger than his 5 pounds. Pablo's owner got a new girlfriend who didn't like dogs, so he was handed off to his elderly parents who were not really looking to get a dog. Five weeks later, Pablo reacted to being mishandled by grandchildren so it was off to the vet to get euthanized. Fortunately for Pablo, the vet refused to euthanize a healthy dog so he came to Kiko in search of a new forever home, one that will really want him and will make sure he is treated properly. Pablo is a very affectionate little dog and has started playing with the other dogs in the foster home, although he will make sure they do not steal his food and toys. He loves cuddling with his people, is clean in the house, and does not bark much at all. Pablo is so happy in this picture that his tail is just a wagging blur! Please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you are interested in keeping Pablo happy and secure in a forever home.
