Looking for a sweet older gentleman who can give you lots of laughs and love, and in turn, he will fill your life with much joy? Well, look no further, Parker is the boy for you!! He was dumped off at a rural shelter months ago in pretty sad condition from a lifetime of limited and irresponsible care but this boy has blossomed since joining GREAT Rescue and has shown us that even an "old guy can teach us new tricks"! Parker is loaded with personality and is very smart. He's learned all the house rules and has made up some of his own like going to the "goodie pantry" when he feels like a treat! He's doing very well in his foster home with two other GREAT Goldens, a cat and some peacocks-he gets along well with all there and seems to really thrive on the activity.
Parker is about 11 years old, neutered, current on Vaccinations and going through the slow Heartgard heartworm treatment. He's an excellent boy in the house, doesn't bark much and is very happy to get a snuggle or smooch from time to time. We believe he is a Golden/Lab mix and may even have some SharPei in him since he also has wrinkles (or maybe that just comes with older age??)
