Henry's Story...
Foster mom says Henry is darling! He is a very handsome puppy who learns very quickly. Henry loves to listen to everything you say. In fact, he sits down when you start talking (maybe he thinks that a treat is coming next). His favorite toy is his monkey toy, among many others. Henry will let you know if he needs to go out and do his business. He is doing very well with crate training, too. As with any puppy his age, Henry is a fun and loving bundle of puppy playfulness and energy. His foster dad says Henry will make a great jogging buddy and takes him walking and jogging on the leash. Henry also met family friends and was great with their children. Anyone looking for a well-rounded, socialized puppy should come visit Henry!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry, a McKinney Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
