Age: 5 Dogs: No but doing better Kids: OK Cats: Unknown
Profile: Fredericka was rescued from the Downy shelter. She looks to have lived a very hard life. But her owners obviously saw the beauty in her as she was bred more than once. She is now retired from the puppy making role she once had and will focus her attention on just being a good family member. Fredericka needs some social skill building and in the right hands will be an awesome companion. She has very regal looks and is ready to start enjoying the good life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fredericka, a Encino Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
