My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CuteYancy was a big hit at adoption ! Why not? Great smallish size, kid friendly, dog friendly, leash trained, he's perfect! So why did he not get a home? It's called the summer adoption blues. So many animals are euthanized in summer months because adoptions drop so low with people going on vacation and not wanting to take on a new dog before they leave. this great dog does not deserved this fate. he may have been housebroken before he came and basic skills, and since's already in a cage, he would be so easy to crate train. . Whatever the circumstance, Yancy is looking for you to come see him and give him a chance. . Please remember to pack a bit of patience, it can be noisy so take a few minutes to take him outside to the grassy area from all the barking inside. The shelter address: 650 John Howell Memorial Drive in Lincolnton. 704 736 4125, Open 6 days a week; M-Sat 11 to 4 ;30. Closed Sunday. Adoption fee of 85.00 includes the spay or neuter , another disease preventative vaccine and a rabies vaccine, a microchip, as well as worming and a new bonus, 30 days of free insurance... T he shelter does same day adoptions and once the adoption fee is paid, your new pet will go to vets for her spay and you will pick her up there.. . thank you for considering sweet Yancy.
