My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My adoption fee is only $75! Woof! My name's Lakota; I am a great dog who is looking for a loving family to care for me. I need to be placed in a home with children 9 years and older. I am very social and tolerant of all touch. I have no interest in play but i do love being around my handler. I would benefit from training, exercise and socialization beyond a fenced yard. I do better if i have some access to outside area, since i am uncomfortable in the indoor environments. My future adopter should acclimate me to varied new environments until i become comfortable. I am a really sweet and loving dog that is waiting for the perfect handler to adopt me so that they can love me and care for me forever. All shelter pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped upon adoption. Dogs adopted to residents of Chula Vista will also receive a free one-year license. To check on the status of this dog, please call (619) 691-5174. Make sure to have the ID# handy!
