My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet Sarah! She is an incredibly sweet English bulldog, who is estimated to be around 3 years old. Sarah came to us from a shelter after being sold at an estate sale, and then left at the shelter by her owner. When she came to us she was severely underweight, had mammary masses, and needed entropian surgery on her eyes.

Sarah is a total sweetheart and loves to be around people! She is great with children, and even snuggles in bed with her human foster brother at night. She is very sweet and gentle with her 19 month old human foster brother, and follows him around waiting for him to drop snacks. For the most part, Sarah is a very laid back dog.

Sarah would be best as the only dog in the home; while she tolerates her doggie foster siblings, she has had some spats with them. She likes to be in charge, and really just prefers her human companions.

Sarah is crate trained, and does not mind going in it when her foster parents are not home. Sometimes she will just go lay in her crate to relax, even when her people are around. Sarah does not like steps so a single-level home would be the best for her.

Sarah is still a bit underweight at around 40 pounds, but otherwise does not have any ongoing medical issues. She had surgery to fix her entropian, and her mammary masses were removed. The biopsy results on the masses came back as NOT having aggressive cancer and removing them is curative!

Please consider opening up your heart and giving Sarah her forever home!
