Frenchie is a handsome 2 year old, 40 lb. Australian Cattle Dog mix boy who found himself in a terrible Tennessee kill shelter just a few days ago. Fortunately, a kind woman from a rescue saw that Frenchie had no business being in that horrible place and gave him his freedom and a chance to find the loving forever home that he deserves. He is so grateful to be out of that shelter that he wants to find a human who will help make him be the best companion he can be. Frenchie has the typical traits that you would associate with a Cattle Dog: he's intelligent, loyal to his person and energetic. He gets along great with all of the dogs at his foster home. Frenchie likes his humans too, but he doesn't demand constant attention. We imagine that Frenchie would enjoy going to a home with a fenced yard so that he could play a nice game of fetch with you or keep you company while you plant some spring flowers or work in the yard. We imagine he would be such a great companion on hikes in the woods, walks in the park and runs in the neighborhood. And then he would settle down at your feet at night after a long day of work or recreation. Can you imagine giving Frenchie a loving home and the chance to be the best dog that he can be?
