This tall, handsome and elegant boy will take your breath away. Just when you think 007 came to escort you to a black tie dinner, you prefer this big, sweet mush as he wiggles on over to beg for kisses. Part Hound, part Labrador, our 85-lbs one year old Casanova has come a long way from the shores of Puerto Rico, where he and his siblings lived in a 10 x 10 horse stall inside a barn. He is now lives with our Trainer in Connecticut with his brother Eli, sister Hannah and several other dogs. Henry is the sensitive type and loves to have dogs around him. Once he is comfortable with his surroundings, he is perfectly happy following the leader of the pack. He loves other dogs and will do best in a home with a friendly, well socialized and confident dog with an enclosed back yard. Henry needs a little time to bond with his new family, but once he does he will be your best friend for life. He is housebroken, neutered, healthy, crate trained and up to date on all his shots.

About Stray From The Heart - NY Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

Stray from the Heart is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of homeless dogs. We provide shelter, veterinary care and loving homes for abandoned, lost, neglected and abused animals. We also provide training and education regarding the protection and care of animals, as well as ongoing support to the individuals and families who adopt from us.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Stray from the Heart does not have a shelter facility, so our rescued dogs are living in foster homes throughout the city. If you are interested in seeing a dog, call us and we'll arrange a meeting for you.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an adoption agreement and we ask an adoption donation fee of $300 - $400. For more information about our adoption process, please visit www.strayfromtheheart.org.
