My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

May 2014 update: Darcy is doing wonderfully in her foster home and loves the larger male dog in her home, though she is more concerned with what her foster mom is up to than the dog. She loves their cat and will lick him and try to cuddle with him. How cute is that? Darcy is still nervous in new situations, and especially with men, but with comfort from her foster mom she does better each time. They jog together and Darcy does well.

She is such a sweet and beautiful girl!

April 2014 update: Darcy's foster mom says, "I think Darcy would be fine being the only pup. She really clings to women and is happy to show her puppy personality and stay by your side. She likes our dog and the neighbor dog, but cares more about what I am doing and staying with me. She has been scared of some other dogs when walking and is still timid with men so they will need to be patient with her. She is protective of me, but the only time she barks is when I'm in the house alone. She is so fun and will often get these cute little hiccups. She does well with our cat and gives space when the cat warns her."

Here are the "D" puppies! They are around 50 lbs each, 8 months old and are very sweet and outgoing. They sleep in their crates at night and are active and playful during the day. They walk well on a leash, are great with children and other dogs.

To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.

Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.

Thank you for considering rescue!
