My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This absolutely handsome guy is named CASH. Actually, all our rescue
volunteers call him "handsome" and overlook his real name of Cash.
Cash arrived at our rescue just as a dog who had been neglected, had
started to roam, and was weary from trying to find food, water, and
shelter. He had a couple of "skid marks" on his rump and was flea
infested. One of the skid spots has healed and his coat has filled
in. The other side is still without hair and will probably be a bald
spot from now on. But it is completely healed and requires no
additional treatment. He was testing heart worm positive and we have
fully treated him for that. Now he just needs his monthly
preventative. He was in desperate need of lots of TLC and we have
given it to him and he has shown us his gratitude with lots of kisses
when we are around.

Cash is the gentlest of gentle. He loves people any size and any
shape. He is just the biggest love bug ever. We should have called
him Gentle Ben because that's exactly what he is. Rarely barks and is
not demanding at all. He enjoys play time, but prefers being a couch
potato. He is great with kids, great with other dogs, and doesn't
seem to have the slightest interest in cats. He is a larger size dog
at 65 lbs, but he is fully grown at his age of 3 - 4 years. Cash
loves going for rides in the car and with just a little help, he will
crawl up in the car and sit there looking out the window.

Cash has been a model dog since his arrival at the rescue. He is not
demanding of anyone's time and just seems to mind his own business. He
sometimes gets overlooked because other dogs are more demanding, but
he waits patiently for us to hug him, love him, and take him for
walks. He is always so very grateful for the smallest amount of
attention and is one of the most deserving dogs for a good home. He
is guaranteed to love you unconditionally for showing him that you
think he is a great dog
