BARNEY's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

BARNEY's Story...
They just don't come any cuter than this guy, Barney. Barney
immediately won our hearts with his playful personality and his
adorable good looks. Barney has this softer than soft reddish colored
coat that you just want to bury yourself in. It reminds me of a
fleece blanket. He was just wonderful walking around on his leash and
loves to ride in the car. Barney is a crowd pleaser with all the
other dogs at playtime and loves anyone that he comes in contact with.
He is a good kids dog. Loves to play with his ball. Loves his chew
toys. And lives for scratches behind the ear and tummy rubs. Oh, my
goodness, the tummy rubs are a must. Just an all around great little
dog that we hope you love as much as we do.

Barney is just a generic sort of breed but reminds me of a red heeler.
I personally have a red heeler and wouldn't take anything for her.
They tend to be very affectionate dogs, very intuitive and smart dogs.
Very mothering to other dogs and great with children. Barney is
starting his vetting requirements and should be ready to transport by
the first part of May. He was the faintest of faint heart worm
positive so he will receive treatment along with his neutering and
vaccination schedule and be ready to rock and roll in May.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BARNEY, a Leland Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Leland, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Leland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Leland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Leland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Leland paves the way for another one to be saved.
