My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 12 February, 2011.

Meet Roary! Roary is a lovely boy with a great personality. He just wants to be near you and follows his foster parent around the house. If you close the door and he's not able to follow you, he sits there and meows for you. Then, when you come back he's always really excited and rubs himself against your legs. He is a great cuddler and if you're watching tv, or using the computer he always squirms into your lap. He likes to suck his thumbs while you rub his cheeks. Roary has the cute habit of crawling under blankets to nap. He's really happy to just sleep against your leg, basking in the warmth.

Roary likes all kinds of toys. He speeds after the laser pointer and does acrobatic jumps when you wave a wand in front of him. His favourite toy, surprisingly, is a measuring tape for sewing. As soon as he hears you getting it out he starts to meow excitedly. He loves treats and will often play hide and seek for them. His foster parent hides the treats all over their apartment and he walks around the room sniffing them out. Roary is really smart and remembers the places where you've hidden them before.

Roary would love a home and would be good with children because he's gentle. For example, Roary doesn't love being held, but rather than lashing out to escape he does wriggles and does sumersaults to communicate his discontent. Roary is good with dogs and might be with cats: he hasn't met any since being placed with his foster parent.
