Matilda's Story...
Meet beautiful Matilda, 3 year old 12 lbs Havanese mix from West Valley Shelter. Mattie surprised the shelter by giving birth to 4 adorable puppies. Mattie is an amazing mommy to her babies. Now it is her turn to find her forever home! She is very smart..she walks great on the leash. During feeding, Mattie needs to be monitored as she will eat her food and any other dogs food.

Matilda's adoption include her spay, microchip, vaccines with rabies and her medical treatments. Please fill out an application on our website: www.savingk9livesplus.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Matilda, a Encino Havanese/Coton de Tulear dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese/Coton de Tulear for sale in Encino, or seeking a Havanese/Coton de Tulear dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese/Coton de Tulear breeders who help with Havanese/Coton de Tulear rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
