Cupcake's Story...
Meet Cupcake! This sweety came to us after she was found as a stray. Turns out, she was adopted from our local shelter, and the family that adopted her didn't want her! Their loss is our gain, because she is just too cute for words! Cupcake is only six or seven months old and is a poodle mix. She's extremely gentle and sweet, and will make a great lapdog and family pet. She is great with other dogs and we would imagine cats as well. Whoever acopts her will have to work on her house training as she is just a puppy. She is fully vetted and ready to go to her forever home! If you think she's the one for you, please fill out an application!

Adoption fee: $200, includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations to date, heartworm testing, deworming.

Foster location: Fort Lauderdale

If you are interested in adopting Cupcake, please fill out the pre-adoption screening form at http://adoptadog.goodkarmapetrescue.org. If you have any questions about the dog, please email us at goodkarmapetrescue [at] gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cupcake, a Fort Lauderdale Poodle (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Fort Lauderdale, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Fort Lauderdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Lauderdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Lauderdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Lauderdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
