Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Sam and while I know that Sam isn't always a girl’s name, in my case, I am the sweetest little girl you will ever meet. I am only about a year old and very shy.
I am a petite girl and weigh about 17 pounds. I am quite the cuddler once I get to know you. I always want to be around others, it just helps me with my trust issues. I get along well with dogs, cats, kids...well just about everyone! My foster beagle brother loves to run around the fenced yard with me and play! I bark when I play and when I see other dogs or people I want to meet. I don't arooooo like the other 3 beagles I live with, I sort of sound like Dino from the Flintstone cartoon.
I am working hard on my house training and also walking on a leash. I was kept outside in a pen before a nice lady saw me freezing on one of those really cold nights and called for help. I love the warmth of my foster home and I have thankful eyes that show that I try to please everyone.
Although I do love my foster home, a forever home with people who aren't gone for long periods would make me the happiest.
