Angel's Story...
Hello, my name is Angel. I am a super sweet and super tiny Chihuahua Terrier mix. I am only about 5 pounds and maybe about 3 years old. I was found as a stray in a small town in New Mexcio, so not much is known about my past. I am very sweet and love everybody I meet. I get along great with other dogs and even cats! I am house broken and crate trained. I am also spayed, current on vaccines, de-wormed, and micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $175. You can let the rescue know you are interested in meeting me by filling out an application at http://www.softplacetoland.org/dog-adoption-application/

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
