Meet Mona! This beautiful Boxer/Lab mix girl is 18 months old and 34 lbs. of sweetness. It's hard to believe that just a few days ago, Mona was in a horrible kill shelter in rural Tennessee. Her foster dad says she is a total sweetheart - loves giving kisses, having her belly rubbed, and getting pats from her people. He also says that Mona is a very smart young lady. She learned how to sit on command on her first day at her foster home and has almost mastered "lay down" and "stay", as well. Mona is doing well with house training, crate training and walking on a leash. She also gets along great with her old foster brother and with other dogs and other people. When Mona gets the urge to chew on something, she finds her Nylabone and chews on it for a while and she is content. Beauty, brains, self-control and a heart of gold - what more can you ask for in a young dog?
