Sadie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Sadie's Story...
Sadie is a very cute 2 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, light brown in color with a full ridge. She is about 50 pounds, current with all shots and spayed. Sadie was rescued from being put down in Texas last year as she aged out of the shelter.

Sadie is very intelligent and responds well to training and walking on a leash. She is great with kids and family, but would be best as an only dog. She loves to run and chase balls. Sadie loves to snuggle on the couch, floor or bed, however she can be close to you. She loves to rest in her crate when she's not asking for attention or outside.

Sadie is being surrendered because she is challenging the older dog in the household. Sadie will be a great dog for family with no other dogs. She has a lot of love to give and wants to please her family members.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Bartonsville Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Bartonsville, or seeking a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog from a breeder in Bartonsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bartonsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bartonsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bartonsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
