My name is Bamboo!

German Shepherd Dog/Collie Mix Dog for adoption in Waldorf, Maryland - Bamboo

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Bamboo's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bamboo's Story...
Bamboo #1098 is a tan and white, 2-year-old female Shepherd mix. She weighs 43 pounds and has a beautiful spirit. Bamboo is kennel trained and good with other dogs and cats. We believe you can always teach an “old” dog new tricks and we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. She will be available for adoption at our Dogapalooza adoption event April 10-13 at the Fredericksburg, VA PetSmart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bamboo, a Waldorf German Shepherd Dog/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Collie for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Collie dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Collie breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
