My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ello, My name is Luck of the Irish, but all my friends call me Irish. I am about 3 months old (as of 4/2/13), and my foster mom says I am white shephard/lab mix.

My story doesn't start very well but I would like to share it with you:

You see I use to live down the road from my foster mom and for weeks I would see this red car drive by very slowly looking at me. I would always raise my paw and wave at her because I needed help. The people who owned me kept me outside in all sorts of bad weather and at one point I thought I would freeze to death. They gave me 2" of leeway for me to move so I had to pee and poop in the same spot I laid and that was if I could poop because they never gave me water or food. Also, these people would kick me in my head every time they came out the door, and I honestly was not in their way because I couldn't move and before my foster mom got me I knew I was not suppose to cry or bark or I would really get it. I took all the abuse they dished out and for the last 3 days (that I lived there) my foster mom said they had taken my voice from me…..and it was time I began to speak for myself again……so…..she came and got me. I didn't know how frail and emancipated I was. She said she was afraid to hold me too much for fear she would break me. She calls me her lil Irish angel sent from heaven.

BUT NOW!!!!!!! Man have I got the life…..My foster mom has given me medicine, food, water, and my own big kennel with my own dog house. I have a lot of toys and a huge loving personality. My foster mom showed me what love really is and I am so looking forward to having a permanent furever home. I have a friend that's a cat her name is Noel) and we play with one another very well. I'm venturing into the house now with the other big dog, Titan. She said I have to get use to sharing the love. I love to get and receive hugs and kisses…..I've never known that before now. I am a bit nosey but my mom says it's just my age. She also told me I was very smart as I am learning to sit and potty train. It's kind of hard on her because she has to work all the time but she does the best she can I know. Oh, and she also told me I am going to be a very great watch dog because I bark when I hear strange things. I'm thankful to be so happy right now, it's something no one ever showed me or gave me. I promise if you adopt me I will be the greatest I can be to be a part of your family.

I will be neutered soon and will then be ready for my furever home.

Paw Waves and Kisses
