Junebug is a beautiful seven-month-old Tortoiseshell kitten looking for a loving guardian. Junebug is a shy and very sweet golden-eyed Tortoiseshell kitten with magnificent coloring. When you hold her and pet her, she just purrs and purrs. She’s also fantastic with other cats. Poor Junebug was brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control during the polar vortex. Shelter employees thought at first that she was dead on arrival. Her body was frozen and broken, possibly hit by a car. She was actually in shock, in horrible pain and very scared. She was lucky to be rescued. Her tail and ear were amputated due to horrible frostbite, but her spirit and the rest of her has bounced back. Junebug does beautifully with a three-year-old child in her foster home. She also has excellent litter box and scratching post skills. And, she lets you trim her claws.
Junebug is now very healthy, de-wormed, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, and virus-tested. f you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Junebug, please contact Allison at carfforanimals@gmail.com or 847-922-1796.
