My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cosmo is as handsome an Australian Cattle Dog as you will find. He is about 3 years old and weighs 58 pounds. This strong and well-marked Blue Heeler is just amazing. He is very friendly with other dogs his size and loves to play in the yard with them. We don't know his background, but before he joined the Critter Cavalry foster family, he must have gotten by with his good looks. Heelers are known for how smart they are and he is picking up the basic commands in no time. He comes when called, even when the goats on the other side of the fence are so much more exciting. He knows sit now and waits in this position for you to put the leash on, waits for your okay to eat when you put the food bowl down, instead of jumping up and pushing it out of your hands. We don't know how he is with cats, he just may be a cat chaser and so we don’t want him paired with a family that has a cat. Cosmo will be an great hiking and running buddy and also loves the water. He will be one that will never leave your side, no matter if you are working on the computer, watching TV or in the yard gardening. He knows the crate in the car will get him to fun places and he jumps right in. At home he does not like to be locked in it and he is just content with a chew toy on a dog bed without causing any trouble. Cosmo is housetrained and currently enjoys the freedom of a dog door and fenced yard. If you haven’t had a Cattle Dog, you are missing out in life. They are the smartest and one of the most devoted breeds of dogs you will ever meet. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
