Buddy is a wonderful golden with a ton of energy. He was born 4/26/2008 and is about to be 6 yrs old. He is neutered, HW neg and on preventative & utd on vaccinations. He loves to be petted and wants someone to play with as well as give him attention. He likes being inside and enjoys outsides as well. He loves kids, swimming any kind of water activity, treats, going for walks. He also enjoys toys. He really needs a place where he can run and have kids & people to play with him and give him alot of attention. Can you give him the home he needs?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy (DC), a Washington Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Washington, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
