Amelia's Story...
Hi my name is Amelia. My foster mom saids I'm a mini beagle. I weigh 11lbs and I'm year and a half, so I'm full grown. My foster mom found me at the county pound. My old owners had to move to a place where pets were not accepted, so now, I no longer have a home. My old owners told the county pound, that I'm housetrain, I love other animals and cats too, love people, and those little creatures called children. I am leash tranined, and I know some simple commands and I love to sit on your lap and watch t.v. with you.I am heart worm neg too. I will be ready to come to my new home on April 11th. Which at that time I will be completely vetted. So won't you please make me part of your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amelia, a Brattleboro Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
